The International Travel Certificates gets generated within 2 hours of your request. You can download your certificate 2 hours after applying for it and store them on the eka.care app.
You may be able to enter some countries with the Internaltional Travel Certificate, while you may have to provide a range of test results in others. Entry requirements vary across different countries.
eka.care enables you to link your passport with Cowin Certificate. We also recommend you to store the certificate in eka.care app. The International Travel Certificates are generated within 2 hours of placing your request.
International Travel Certificate has been introduced by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, which complies with international standards for travel abroad. The certificate serves as a proof that the individual has received all doses of vaccination for travelling internationally. This certificate enables you enter countries without any hassle of quarantine or going through tests for COVID-19.

It is the responsibility of the Vaccination center to provide a printed copy of Vaccine certificate. The certificate is provided on the day of vaccination once your vaccination is done. Benifciries can insist on receiving the certificate at the center itself.
In Private Hospitals, the charges for providing a printed copy of the certificate are included in the service charge for vaccination, so benificiaries need not pay the amount.
The government issues a COVID Vaccine Certificate (CVC), which is an assurance to the beneficiary on the vaccination (type of vaccine used). The provisional certificate also provides the next vaccination due. The certificate of Vaccination (CVC) becomes an evidence for the benificiary to prove to any entities which may require proof of vaccination. This is specially observed in case of travel. You can download your vaccine certificate on eka.care.
Vaccination is not only important to protect individuals from disease, but also reduces their risk of spreading the virus. There could be a requirement in near future to produce vaccination certificates for social interactions and International travel."
To guarantee genuineness of the certificate, the certificate issued by CoWIN has built in security features which can be digitally verified using approved utilities, provided in CoWIN portal.
For verification purpose, you should carry your identity proof that you had specified at the time of registration on the CoWIN portal. It is also recommended to carry your appointment slip While booking you vaccination slot, the appointment slip get saved in the eka.care App. You can keep it handly for future reference(s).
Citizens aged 18 years and more can schedule an online appointment for precaution dose at any Government CVC or Private CVC in all States/UTs, subject to the availability of vaccination slots.
Yes, you can get get your second dose in any State or District. However, you will only get vaccinated in the centers offering the same vaccine as was administered to you on your first dose.
The Vaccination Centers need to ensure that if a beneficiary is being vaccinated with 2nd dose, the first dose vaccination should have been done with the same vaccine as is being offered at the time of second dose. The vaccine center also needs to check that for Covaxin, the first dose was administered more than 28 days ago, 84 days ago for COVISHIELD and 21 days ago for SPUTNIK V.
We also urge you to share the correct information about the vaccine type and the date of 1st dose vaccination with the vaccinator. It is recommended to carry your vaccine certificate issued after the first dose.

You have to find a vaccination session of your choice that is not marked as booked. Then, book a slot by clicking on the number of slots. You will have to give some basic information about yourself and details of your photo identification card to get yourself registered online.
No, the system does not automatically book your 2nd dose. The process for taking 2nd dose is similar, an appointment has to be taken on eka.care or on the the CoWIN system. You can book an appointment in a Vaccination center of your preference, where the same vaccine is being administered as the vaccine type (COVAXIN, COVISHIELD or SPUTNIK V) of the 1st dose.

It has been recommended that the 2nd dose. The time frames for differnt vaccines varies. For instance, COVAXIN should be administered between 28 to 42 days after the 1st dose. The 2nd dose of COVISHIELD should be administered between 84 days to 112 days after the 1st dose. The second dose of SPUTNIK V should be administered between 21 days to 90 days after the 1st dose.

You can also set alerts on the eka.care app and get notified as soon as your prefered slot is avialable as per your selected time, vaccine type and the cost of vaccination.
