Dr. Trishna Agarwal

With over 18 years of clinical experience in the area of mental heath, Trishna Agarwala is a registered psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA) under the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA). She is an accredited clinical diagnostician for Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2) and Autism Diagnostic Interview (Revised) (ADI-R). She has worked in various settings, including private practices, non-profit organizations, and governmental bodies, both in Australia and India, providing varied evidenced-based mental health interventions for adults, adolescents and children. A strong advocate of the Family Systems Therapy which revolves around attachment patterns with primary caregivers and its effect on relationships throughout our lives, Trishna works with clients across age groups in individual, couple and family configurations, using a positive strength-based approach. Her approach is largely eclectic with a focus on strength-based interventions — to enable the client to function better and build resilience in the face of triggers and causes that often cannot be removed from one’s environment.
