About the doctor
Dr. Kamaraju’s research focus is in toxicities of cancer treatments and cancer-related outcomes. Her current projects include cardiovascular outcomes with adjuvant endocrine therapy in breast cancer survivors. This project includes analysis of a national Medicare database of breast cancer survivors that enables evaluation of cardiovascular outcomes. She is an active member in the Cardio-Oncology working group at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She has been actively involved in the community for the past several years with various community outreach projects focusing on racial, cultural and financial disparities in relation to cancer prevention and survivorship.
