Dr. Rajeev Yalamanchili MD

Dr. Rajeev Yalamanchili completed his medical degree (M.B.,B.S.) at Kasturba Medical College in India before pursuing further training in general surgery at Manipal Academy of Higher Education Mangalore. He then completed his internal medicine residency and infectious diseases fellowship at SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY. Dr. Yalamanchili has since dedicated himself to the practice of internal medicine and hospitalist medicine, serving in various clinical and academic roles. Currently, Dr. Yalamanchili serves as an Attending Hospitalist at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where he provides comprehensive care to hospitalized patients. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical University, where he continues to contribute to medical education and research. Additionally, Dr. Yalamanchili holds positions as a Hospitalist/Nocturnist at several medical centers in the Syracuse, NY area, including Crouse Hospital, Oswego Hospital, and St. Joseph’s Hospital. Dr. Yalamanchili's clinical interests include infectious diseases, and he has conducted research and published articles on topics such as the efficacy of medications in cardiac surgery and rare cases of infectious diseases. He is board-certified in internal medicine and has received recognition for his excellence in hospitalist medicine, including being named the Best Hospitalist of the Year 2022-2023 by SUNY Upstate Medical Center and Veterans Hospital in Syracuse, NY.
