I am Dr. Sumithra S, a Pediatric Consultant and PICU Lead with over a decade of specialized training and experience in pediatric and critical care medicine. My journey began with a DCH and DNB in Pediatrics, followed by advanced training in pediatric critical care through fellowships in PICU and CICU/ECMO at globally renowned institutions like Birmingham Children's Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital, UK. These experiences have shaped my expertise in handling complex pediatric cases, including ECMO and cardiac intensive care. My professional career spans key roles in esteemed hospitals like St. John’s Medical College, where I served as a Senior Registrar and Assistant Professor, and Aster Women and Children Hospital, Bangalore. As a certified PALS and BLS trainer, I am committed to imparting knowledge to peers and have been a speaker and faculty member at several national and state-level conferences and workshops. Awards like the "Best Doctor" recognition during my tenure at Cloudnine reaffirm my commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
