A Gold Medalist Graduate who excels in Clinical Anesthesiology, Pain Management & palliative care, healthcare quality and patient safety. Dr. Agarwal holds multiple qualifications, including MBBS, MD (Anaesthesia), European Diploma of Pain management, Fellowship in Interventional Pain Management and Post Doctoral Certificate Course in Pain Management, to name a few. Her experience includes working in diverse healthcare environments which comprised of International institutions like Homerton University, London, Armed forces setup at Base Hospital, Delhi Cantt, Government hospitals such as SMS Medical hospital Jaipur, Maulana Azad Medical College, G.B. Pant hospital, N. Delhi, and private hospitals including BL Kapur Superspecialty Hospital, and Fortis healthcare at N. Delhi. She has published 20+ articles in prestigious journals, and is a regular faculty in various Conferences. Dr. Agarwal is a respected member of various professional bodies and an active participant in numerous community initiatives. She is also associated with international organizations such as Geneva Foundation of Medical Education and Research, Switzerland, as Technical Advisor & Course Editor for Emergency and Surgical care program. She has worked with World Health Organisation on Perioperative Patient Safety. Apart from the above affiliations, Dr. Agarwal is also passionate about healthacare quality. She is an External Assessor with National Board of Examination, National External Assessor for Quality Assurance programs such as NQAS, Kayakalp, NABH and Smile Train campaign accreditation programs. She was the key member in drafting the ‘ISA Public Awareness Document’ for the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists and is an Editorial Board member of the Journal of Anaesthesiology and Clinical Pharmacology. Dr. Agarwal has authored numerous books, chapters and publications on anesthesia, pain management, and patient safety. She has been awarded prestigious academic honors in these fields.
