I recently consulted Dr G K Sudhakar Reddy at Continental Hospital for my shoulder pain. He ruled out fracture and muscle tear by examining x- ray and MRI scans. He gave me a shoulder injection and advised Physiotherapy for three weeks. Now after four weeks I feel very much better, and the pain is significantly reduced. During all these interactions the Doctor was very patient, very courteous, and helpful. I really thank him for solving my shoulder problem. His assistant Dr Shaista was very understanding and cooperative, helping me in every aspect. I wish to record my appreciation of the treatment at this Hospital.

The attention on surgery day and during the post-op follow up by both Dr Sudhakar and Dr Charan in the team have been professional yet personal and warm. They answered with patience all the technical questions I had after my research. We had considered seven different hospitals prior to this and settled on this because the Drs were considerate, relaxed and honest about the effect and recovery time. And our faith has been fully justified. In fact there is something to be said about Continental hospital itself. It is the only hospital in Hyderabad where I have seen orthopaedic wheel chairs. It shows the kind of attention to detail about patient health and well-being. The atmosphere at Continental Hospital is relaxed and friendly, another contrast with most others.

Dr. Sudhakar is a unicorn surgeon. I consulted him for an acl reconstruction. Before confirming for operation, I consulted him 3 times. Each time I was mesmerized by his answers to my questions. Then the operation was planned. I am in awe of how well he is adept in latest advancements with so much experience. It's a very very rare combination. I saw 15 doctors before him but I got fixated on getting operated from him after talking to him. He was very clear on what technology he will be using according to my choice and his suggestion. He also explained how important physiotherapy is and how it defines the rest 50% of the success of a good surgery. The operation went well and the follow up visit also was well with sutures removed without infection. He even helped me get a good physiotherapist. One iconic way that I found very interesting and funny is just the next day after operation, when he came for a visit, he lifted my operated leg by the thumb and asked me to hold the position. Then he asked to do 200-300 times. Well, I barely reached 230 times a day by the follow up date and I told him happily. He did the same lifting again and increased the limit to 500. Hahahhaha. That was a good gesture for me. Don't just take my word for him, give him a visit and talk your heart out. I am confident that you will find your solution. Even if you are not in Hyderabad, a visit to this doc is worth if you need any sort of orthopaedic solution.
