Dr. Anil Prasad Bhatt is a distinguished Senior Consultant Nephrologist currently based in Delhi NCR and Uttarakhand. He holds the position of HOD Nephrology and Kidney Transplant at Holy Family Hospital in New Delhi, Jaypee Hospital in Noida, and Yatharth Hospital in Greater Noida.
Dr. Bhatt is an alumnus of GSVM Medical College Kanpur and pursued his nephrology and Kidney transplant training at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital before completing his tenure at AIIMS, New Delhi, where he obtained his Doctorate in Medicine (DM) in 2011.
Following a brief stint at Max Hospital in Mohali, Dr. Bhatt joined a prestigious charitable hospital in New Delhi, where he successfully established a comprehensive kidney care and dialysis program, solidifying its place as one of the largest in Delhi with the highest clinical standards. He also initiated a highly affordable kidney transplant program and assembled a competent and compassionate team of kidney caregivers, including nephrologists, dialysis technicians, transplant coordinators, and transplant nurses. Notably, Dr. Bhatt and his team conduct daily charitable Kidney OPD at Holy Family Hospital New Delhi.
Since 2014, Dr. Bhatt has been serving as the Director and Head of Nephrology at Jaypee Hospital, Noida, where he has overseen the establishment of a highly successful kidney care, dialysis, and kidney transplant program. Under his leadership, the hospital now serves patients with kidney ailments from around the world, boasting successful crossmatch positive transplants since 2017, as well as numerous ABO incompatible renal transplants, all yielding excellent results. Additionally, Dr. Bhatt provided guidance for the successful implementation of a kidney transplant program at Yatharth Hospital, Greater Noida.
In addition to his clinical endeavors, Dr. Bhatt initiated his own dialysis startup, "Renacare Center for Kidney Disease," during the Noida Covid lockdown, expanding it to four centers across Noida and facilitating a high-quality home hemodialysis program catering to patients in the NCR and UP regions.
Demonstrating an active interest in academics, Dr. Bhatt pursued training at renowned institutions such as Oxford and Howard, and has contributed to over a dozen research articles in international journals. Moreover, he has been consistently organizing health camps focusing on kidney diseases in UP and Uttarakhand for several years. Notably, Dr. Bhatt has been recognized with the "Sewa Ratna" award for his services in remote areas of Uttarakhand and was honored as the best nephrologist of 2022.
Dr. Bhatt's key interests and expertise lie in the areas of preventing diabetes and kidney diseases, managing difficult UTIs and prostate issues, addressing recurring kidney stone diseases, performing complex kidney transplants and blood mismatch transplants, as well as overseeing Peritoneal Dialysis CAPD.
